 Four former Outlaws (Saratoga Phillies) players have been selected in the Major League Baseball draft. All four players are pitchers and are set to begin the professional careers.

Matt Chavez hit a leadoff home run in the top of the ninth Thursday to spark a four-run inning and lead the Oneonta Outlaws to a 6-2 New York Collegiate Baseball League victory over the Syracuse Junior Chiefs at DeLutis Field in Rome.

Oneonta Outlaws batters were limited to four hits in a 3-1 New York Collegiate Baseball League loss to the Syracuse Salt Cats on Tuesday at Le Moyne College. Carlos Asuaje, Austin Anderson, Ryan Seiz and Michael Strentz had hits for Oneonta, which dropped to 2-2 on the season.

Carlos Asuaje, Chase Compton and John Howell had three hits apiece and three Oneonta pitchers limited the Syracuse Junior Chiefs to three hits in the Outlaws' 10-1 New York Collegiate Baseball League victory Monday at DeLutis Field in Rome.
