The Outlaws defeated the Amsterdam Mohawks Sunday night 3-2 at Damaschke field for their second home game in a row to end with a walk off base hit. Outlaws starting pitcher Nick Umberger (Shippensburg) gave up two runs in the first inning before settling down to keep the Mohawks scoreless over the next five frames. He finished with five srikeouts and three walks in six innings. Kevin Dickey (UC Riverside) picked up the win in relief, going three scoreless while striking out two. After scoring just one run in six innings against Amsterdam starter Dan Zlotnik (Marist) the Outlaws tied the game in the seventh when Derrick Osteen (William & Mary) scored on a Mohawks error. In the ninth against Mohawks reliever John Luke Jacobs (Auburn) the Outlaws loaded the bases with nobody out, led by a leadoff double by third baseman Evan Kehoe (UC San Diego), who had three hits in the game. The Mohawks then brought in Jason Patten (Radford) to face Jarred Clarkson, who greeted the reliever with a single to left field to give the Outlaws the victory.
