Oneonta Outlaws Player Signing #17: Jack Clark - Freshman - Outfielder - High Point University - 6’0 178 Ib - Tampa, FL

Had to grab another young standout from the High Point University Panthers. The Outlaws are stoked to welcome freshman outfielder Jack Clark of Tampa, Florida for the summer 2025 campaign. The 6’0 178 Ib righty swinger is hitting .265 as a true freshman across 29 appearances/6 starts. He’s gone 9/34 with 1 double (which came in a win at Radford on 3/30), 10 runs scored, while knocking in 6 runs, walking 5 times, and stealing 3 bags. The upside he has is truly remarkable as he’s a gap-to-gap hitter, can hit for both contact and power, while having a standout glove at any spot in the outfield.

During his senior season at Jesuit Tampa he hit .338 with 27 hits, including 4 triples to help lead the group to a state championship. Clark was named to the All-813s Prep First Team and given the accolade of Saladino Tournament MVP during that same season. The reason in which he chose to take his talents up to High Point, NC upon graduation was because he believed it to be the best place for him to not only develop as a player, but as a person too due to the coaches and campus culture. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business.

Clark’s a hard-working player willing to do anything to help his team win ballgames. He is extremely gritty and brings tons of energy and passion to the dugout and clubhouse. The things in which he is most excited about in playing in Oneonta this summer are the chance to get lots of reps, meet new players and make new friends from all over the country, and play at historic Damaschke Field.
